The Pony Club
The school is a centre for the Pony Club and runs an accredited course. The course meets once a week and is for children who don't own a horse or pony.
Week 1 — Two hours of learning the finer points of riding, grooming and cleaning tack.
Week 2— Learning the essentials of stable management—1 hour.
The weeks are then alternated and so forth. Both sessions must be attended.
Tests are taken and badges studied for to give youngsters an important grounding in equitation skills.
There are currently vacancies available for keen children aged 8 years and above.
To join our Pony Club Centre you must have basic riding skills and be able to canter off the lead rein.
You can obtain an enrollment form from Mrs Woodhead and then its sent to Pony Club HQ.
A fee is payable to The Pony Club annually. Rallies must be paid for on attendance.
