Weelsby is fortunate to be the training base of what we call “The Woodhead Way”. Our concept is very simple, we are four very successful, professional riders who have all competed internationally and we are now combining all our skills and knowledge together to provide a complete training package for all levels of riders.
Our aim is to help you reach your own challenges and goals. We understand the hard work and dedication it takes to achieve results and we can help you improve your own skills, whether you are competing at a very high level or just want to feel more confident and become a better rider. Everyone is welcome to experience the enthusiasm and love for horses Tracy, Kate, Amy and Holly provide in abundance.
Tracy Woodhead, Kate Lewis (nee Elliot), Amy Woodhead and Holly Woodhead all grew up and trained at Weelsby Park Riding School. Founded in 1949 by Jean Davis and her sister Glenys Woodhead as a riding school, then further developed by her son Ian Woodhead as a professional riding and training facility, the yard has flourished for over 60 years. With their roots firmly placed in Weelsby, this is where the girls base themselves to ride and train.
So, if you are into dressage, eventing, showing or general riding club activities, we can improve and help you enjoy riding at any level. We welcome all enquiries and our stable door is open to everyone.
